MIKE TOOK MA, BA (hons)
is an award-winning, multi-optioned scriptwriter with decades of film industry experience. He specializes in original screenplays, story editing and collaborative development, and has a Master of Arts Degree in Screenwriting from the #1 Arts University in the UK. He has worked with Emmy-winning writers, famous musicians and best-selling authors, and his creative portfolio as a writer, performer and producer spans TV, film, theatre, music and comedy.
As well as screenwriting, he actively represents his slate of projects to the international TV and film industry, and has attended the Cannes Film Festival each year since 2012. 2026 projects include two
book-to-screenplay adaptations, one international feature production, a US studio option, and ongoing development of his award-winning TV pilot project, "The Shakespeares".
Alongside his successful writing career he delivers one-to-one and group teaching sessions in storycraft and creative writing, and provides feedback and mentorship to new and emerging writers.
